I take some pictures on occasion, but recently lost a number of them. Now that the weather has turned, though, the clouds are rolling in and it makes for some interesting views.

This first shot was taking coming down the mountain from the East side of the valley, driving West. On a mostly clear day you can look out for miles and the valley floor is a patchwork of various orchards and fields ranging from oranges to cotton to almonds. A beautiful sunset.

This second shot was taken this morning (Monday, November 2nd) and is just a clear shot of the full moon from my front yard. It was so big and bright I had to get a shot while everything was quiet and dark. I love seeing the moon peeking out from behind the clouds like this, along with the bright house lights. It shines just as bright, despite being so far away.

That’s it. Enjoy.
