Damn you 2020! Damn you straight to the deepest, darkest dungeon SPECTRE has!
Sean Connery, hands down THE James Bond, the most iconic man/spy ever to hit the cinema screen, passed away at 90 years of age. As a young man I loved James Bond movies. Everything about Bond was encapsulated in Connery’s performance and he has been my favorite actor in the role ever since.
Bond wasn’t his only great role, however, and he starred in plenty of great, exciting films in both action oriented and dramatic roles.
I have a feeling that on more than one occasion Death set foot in his doorstep, took one look at him, and said, “Screw this, I’ll come back later”.
I know in his advanced age he wasn’t looking all that great, and I know we all have to go at some point, but good grief, 2020 is a nightmare.
Sir Connery, I salute you, and I will make sure my next martini is “shaken, not stirred” in your honor.

I am so very sad that he is dead, I loved Dr No.
His explanation about why slapping a woman could be the better option sometimes … is very good I must admit.
Someone pointed out that Barbera Walters, the woman giving the interview, gives the perfect example. She just cannot accept his answer, she has to keep pushing for more. 😂
Yes indeed, she twists the words in his mouth before he even said anything. “You regret this statement!” – “No, I don’t.” 😀🤣
“So you think wife-slapping is good?” (<- stupid generalisation) – "It's not that bad if you tried everything else."
Yes Mr Connery, I can agree.
