Final Fantasy III – Roaming Sheep

Another beautiful song, this time from Final Fantasy III. Hauntingly beautiful, I believe this tune is very old and appeared on the CD ‘Eternal Legend of the Wind’ in 1990. Any interpretation on it’s meaning? I may have to play FFIII again to remember!

Roaming sheep in search of the place
You’ve never known
Listen to the wind
Until you can hear the sign
Roaming sheep the front of the gate
That’s closed so tight
Take a rest on the earth
Until you can find the key
Roaming sheep in search of the people
Full of love
Bathe yourself in the water
Until your mind’s soothed again
Roaming sheep in front of the deep
And dreamless sleep
Here you’re by the fire
Able to warm your heart
Each and every moment
Oh, as time goes by
All in this world has to change
Roaming sheep in search of the place
You’ve never known
Better take your breath
Until you can hear the sign
Roaming sheep in search of the place
You’ve never seen
Better watch your step
Until you can find the key
Roaming sheep in search of the place
You may never reach
Better love yourself
Tomorrow’s another day

    1. Ill turn you into a fan yet! Even if you don’t like video games, the music of Final Fantasy is exceptional beyond description! Yeah, some of the songs are typical video game fare, but some of them are beyond beautiful. I am very much hoping to attend the Final Fantasy: Distant Words concert that typically comes by Los Angeles every year. I must keep an eye out! In the meantime, enjoy! I like doing musical posts every so often.
